I could seriously eat one of these every day for the rest of my life.  Personally, I prefer getting those smaller flatbreads that are joined at one end to be a variation of pita pockets.  With the protein and fat of the avocado and egg, a whole flatbread pizza is too filling and you need two or three eggs to cover it.

Other than that, oh my heavens . . .

Avo + Egg Brakfast Pizza


  • Greek or pocketless pita, or any kind of flatbread

  • Lemon

  • Ripe avocado

  • Organic egg

  • Sea salt, pepper, chili flakes, cumin, cumin seed, extra virgin olive oil

  • I personally like a handful of chopped fresh cilantro mixed in with the avocado or sprinkled on top


  1. Toast pita until crisp, mash avocado (and mix with the chopped cilantro if you want) and spread on pita.

  2. Drizzle with a dash of lemon, olive oil and spices, and place the egg (cooked to your liking) on top and serve.

  3. Best as a healthy breakfast, afternoon snack, or Sunday night dinner!

  4. Add prosciutto or a sprinkling of feta over the top for a richer snack.
